As the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Habib Canadian Bank (HCB), Muslim Hassan has played an integral role in the growth and development of the Bank in Canada since its inception and oversees its entire operations.
He joined Habib Canadian Bank in 2001 as Chief Executive Officer after spending 10 years at Habib Bank AG Zurich plc, where he managed and grew the business at its London branch. Between 1983 and 1991, he gained experience in private companies and completed a two-year training program at Habib American Bank in New York.
He graduated with a degree in business and finance and has extensive experience in revenue generation, customer-centric relationship management, and operational leadership in banking.
In addition to his role at HCB, he serves as Chairman of the Habib University Foundation Canada, a charitable organization supporting the University’s mission to provide world-class higher education to the most talented students, irrespective of their socio-economic background, helping nurture ethical, conscious, and service-oriented future leaders for Pakistan.
