Habib University’s “Beauty of Generosity” fundraising gala, held March 18, 2023, at the Capitol Banquet Centre in Mississauga, Canada, united global supporters to promote Zakat and expand access to higher education for underprivileged students in Pakistan. The evening opened with a Quran recitation, setting a tone of generosity and reflection. Muslim Hassan underscored the urgent need for educational opportunities, while keynote speaker Dr. Azra Raza highlighted how giving and education transform communities. President Wasif Rizvi shared HU’s achievements: 360 full scholarships through HU-TOPS since 2014 and 85% of students receiving financial aid.
